ANIMALS Welcomes Marianna Phung
Marianna Phung is a Toronto-based actor, writer and director. Her work, which walks the line between comedy and drama, earned her the title of Best Director at Toronto’s 48hr Film Challenge for “May Flowers” and Best International Short Film at the Houston Comedy Film Festival for “Cranberry Flirt.” ANIMALS is honoured and delighted to welcome Marianna to the family.

ANIMALS Welcomes Haya
Haya is a Pakistani-Canadian Director, raised in Switzerland, and living in Brooklyn. Haya’s debut feature, Quickening, premiered to critical acclaim at The Toronto International Film Festival In 2021. Haya’s Work With Cancer Campaign for Publicis Groupe won the Grand Prix For Good at the Cannes Lions in 2023. Haya is currently in development on her second feature, A Prayer For My Brother.
